Privacy & Data
Fire & Flavor uses a small amount of information to run the newsletter, accept community ratings, and personalize tools on your device. Personalization data is not sold to advertisers.

Stored on Your Device
Local personalization
The Product Shelf, tasting journal, heat comfort setting, comparison tray, recently viewed products, recently used tools, and suggested-video history are stored in your browser using local storage. This information normally stays on that device and is not required to use the public archive.
Clearing browser data can erase this profile. The My Profile page lets you export a backup, import it on another browser, or clear the profile data yourself.
Viewer Feedback
Community ratings
The site creates a random browser identifier when a community rating is submitted. It helps prevent accidental duplicate submissions without requiring a public account. Submitted ratings and optional notes may be stored with the product rating.
Do not include private or sensitive information in a public rating note.
YouTube and Podcast Platforms
Embedded and linked media
Episode pages may use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. YouTube and other listening platforms may still receive information when a visitor plays embedded media or opens an external platform link, subject to that platform's own privacy practices.
Maker and Retailer Sites
External links
Product pages link to official maker websites and other external destinations. Fire & Flavor does not control the privacy, cookies, checkout systems, or data practices of those sites.
Your Choices
Access, backup, and deletion
