1. Respect the person behind the palate.
People experience heat and flavor differently. Challenge ideas, claims, and products without insulting the person sharing them.
2. Be honest about your relationship to a product.
Makers, employees, affiliates, and anyone receiving free products should disclose that connection when recommending or reviewing something.
3. Add something useful.
Explain what you tasted, how you used it, what went wrong, or why you disagree. Low-effort attacks, repeated promotion, and empty engagement bait may be removed.
4. Keep promotion in balance.
Makers are welcome and encouraged to participate. Join conversations beyond your own products. Promotional topics belong in relevant maker, event, review, or marketplace categories.
5. Protect private information.
Do not post someone’s address, phone number, private messages, order information, or identifying details without permission.
6. Trade carefully.
Buy, sell, and trade activity is between members. Describe condition and shipping terms clearly. Do not list prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, or illegally shipped items.
7. No harassment, hate, threats, or graphic abuse.
Content targeting protected characteristics, encouraging violence, stalking members, or deliberately making the community unsafe will result in removal and account action.
8. Report problems instead of escalating them.
Use the Report button. Moderators can review context, hide content, lock discussions, and take account action when needed.
